Has anyone else noticed this?

I have the same problem with another brand. I take a straight pin and run it up and down to see if I can find the start. Somtimes if you look really carefully you can barely see where it is tucked but it is a pain and my eyes aren't what they used to be.

I use prewound bobbins all the time. I get them from Discount Embroidery [email protected] and have never had a problem. What I really like is that they now come in colors.

sorry never saw a reason for them. i just wind a bunch of bobbins on my bobbin winder while i watch tv and always have plenty already wound and store them in small medicine bottles. when i need a color then i will wind a bunch of those for that project.
