Default Need ideas for a Featherweight travel case

Hi friends! I know that there are people to make the box that looks like the original, but I am on the hunt for something less expensive. I have one similar to this, https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-STST1...lbox+on+wheels and although the price is ok, it doesn't fit well, it's heavy, and you have to have the top box in place in order to use the rolling handle.

I have mine in a bowling ball bag. Take the wire rack out. Just fits the featherweight. Easy to Cary and cheap ones at the thrift stores.

Costco and Harbor Freight both carry tool bags that FWs fit into. There's also a pattern on Craftsy to make your own FW tote. I was a tester for this pattern and it's a nice tote.

I use a tool box from a large box hardware store. It has a hard plastic bottom and soft sides with some zipper pockets and open pockets. It has room for the machine plus some accessories. I like the shoulder strap.

I use a gym bag I found at Big Lots for $10. It has a semi-hard bottom and the FW fits perfectly. There is also room for my FW book and a few cuts of fabric. I use the end pockets for bobbins, pins, seam ripper, rotary cutter, etc. I think it's the perfect bag if you don't want to pay $80 for a reproduction case or even more for a vintage one.

I have a rolling backpack. I didn't know it did not have straps will about 2 yrs after I bought it! I have used it to take my FW on the airplane. Fits under the seat in front of me. Just found a second one at Goodwill..IT has straps. Doubt if I will use them tho...

I had a friend make me a special tote just for my featherweight. It's made out of home dec fabric with wooden handles. It works great and I put a label on it with my name and phone number.

I have a clear plastic storage box from JF that fits my featherweight perfectly. It has a handle for carrying. I still have the original case ...somewhere, it had a strong smell and I did not want to use it. I should search for it and see if the box of baking soda I dumped in has helped.

This is the one I bought years ago, love the shoulder strap.
