I just bought one of these for a class & I LOVE IT. I tried invisigrip and it was ok to begin with but then got messy.

Another option is to get the handles that go in the shower that have suction cups on the back. The least expensive place that we have found them are in Harbor Freight. Here is the link http://www.harborfreight.com/bath-sa...dle-96086.html

GET THE CREATIVE GRIDS RULER!!! Got one this weekend and have never felt so absolutely confident and comfortable with any ruler. No more pushing down so hard and getting an achy hand. Totally non-slip and so easy to see the markings!

Best ever.
Enjoy your future cutting! Kit

I bought the Guidelines Ruler and dislike it. Used it one time. Will never use it again. Wobbles around. (If you are talking about the ruler)

That is good stuff. I don't use the 24" one a lot. I prefer the shorter size (12x6) - easier to maneuver.

I tried the clear grip, it didn't work for me, it kept peeling off.

I love these too. I have a 12.5x12.5 ruler that does not have any gripes and I hate how it slips around. I plan on replacing it with one from Creative Grids to add to all the others I have. The 12.5x12.5 ruler was my first quilting ruler purchase and I didn't know any better.
