Wow! I really like that and I'm not even a blue person. I see that it is not sewn together yet. I have trouble taking it from the design board to the next room where the sewing machine is.....somehow my pins get turned around and it is sewn wrong. Did you say what the name of the line of fabric is?

Your quilt is so beautiful! I am sure that you could play with the placement of the squares for a long time to get 'perfect'. I think they are lovely this way. There is so much to 'see' in your quilt. It is one of the most attractive quilts I have seen in a long time. Please show us again when you get finished.

That is a most beautiful quilt. You asked for honest opinions, so thanks to bearisgray, we can be honest. It is much better after the changes she suggested. What I see now is not serious, but if it were on my wall I would change about three of the dark blue squares. Top center, bottom center and left bottom. Then there is another very light square right next to a very light triangle at right bottom.
I have gone through the drill of changing such a design, and it can drive you nuts. Good luck.

I have Judy Martin's book and of course noticed this particular quilt immediately but I was a newcomer and scared to death of it. I really love your layout and fabric choices. The Snail's Trail is on my soon to be done list, but I don't think it will be this pattern as much as I love what you've made. Well, maybe a much smaller version ?

What a beautiful quilt....I would love to have it, no matter what you did with the blocks!!! I lay mine out and take pictures, walk away and sneak up on it, like to make sure that my blocks are "right". I might also have a touch of OCD.

Wow! It is just gorgeous! I love the fabrics you used but I can see why you are a little tired of looking at them after using them for so long. You just need a little break from them. You sure did an awesome job on it. I am looking forward to seeing it quilted.
