Snowball quilts are fast and fun. Choose a beautiful focus fabric and accent the corners with a coordinating fabric.

This is just a simple baby quilt but it would be lovely done with a beautiful large rose pattern fabric as a focal fabric alternated with accents. Just an idea for fast and impact!

I can't find it, but I have seen a quilt in the past few day, either on facebook or emails, that had large squares (could be layer cake) alternating with white squares, no border, no intricate piecing. It was a nice, easy to make, looking quilt. Very simple, yet classy. Sorry I can't find it. Maybe someone else knows which one I am talking about and can post the link.

This looks quick: http://www.quiltfrog.com/fourhour.html You could make the squares bigger or add another border.

MSQC has a half square triangle that you can do different things with it. Go traditional or modern depending on your fabric. A light and a dark.

Warm Wishes looks harder than it is. The simplicity is very appealing . Choose a fantastic focus fabric plus two coordinating colors.

Quilt as you go, large log cabin (yes, OnebyOne, 20" works) or square within a square.
