Ever notice I83 Pa welcome centers amish lonestar quilt on display--I made that quilt, a few years ago I stopped at the Pa welcome center on I83 on the pennsylvania/maryland border and meeting Bill, I noticed a woven blanket on display among other things, and I started to talk to Bill about my quilting and asked him if he'd like to display one of my quilts, he agreed quickly. I have out on loan my amish lonestar quilt to Bill at the welcome center, it only seemed fitting we needed a quilt.... I think it would be awesome if at each state welcome center they would display quilts from their state, for visitors to see! joan smitties pretzels dover pa

My eyesight is too bad. Couldn't see quilt.

Does sound like a great idea.

That is so cool!!! I've never been at that welcome center, because we always come back home to PA by way of West Virginia. I don't remember a quilt at that welcome center, but I'm going to pay attention next time!!

I haven't been down that far on 83 in years. I get down as far as York once in a while. But that is so neat that your quilt is displayed there. I can't believe how nice our welcome center looks inside. lol
