Thanks... she is a sweetie. She is the youngest & was the tiniest at birth (4lbs.1oz), but sure is a go getter.
I am going to try to get all my grands to sew.. even my GS.

Oh how sweet! I can't wait to teach my grand daughters. I hope they will like it!

Can't wait to see what she makes you!

Me too, I am self taught. After about a year of watching her, I will be comfortable with sewing along beside her. But at 4 years old, not a chance. She doesn't like watching tv or movies, so she has 'girl' time with her mommy. Painting fingernails, toenails, doing hair styles, etc.
SO when mommy is at work...this is 'granny' time.

This is only the first for me & the youngest. I have an 8 year old & twin 5 year old girls to see if they take off on it. I have a feeling that 1 won't be interested at all, the other will be like Maria & the oldest, not sure it could go either way.
Maria's twin brother says he wants to learn what Mo Mo is doing. That is what he calls her.

Wow this is great you should be proud Grandma.
I am very impressed that only at 4 years old she stayed with it for 2 hours. Another quilter in the making.

Muriel, we only stopped after 2 hours because papaw told us to take a break. I hadn't realized that Maria & I had been sewing for that long. Time flies when having fun! :)
