that is a great way to do things....with fabric being limited in production now and so costly, she is guaranteed a great supply and those who bought like heck in late 90's and early 2000's can get rid of the stuff they no longer know why they bought it..hehehe
we all know your tastes change over 3 years...so what a great way to freshen up or even lighten up your stash...all the while allowing the NEWBY quilter's a chance to build a great stash of fabric (the quality of which you won't find these days)!
Kudo's for the owner! where is the store located?

At first glance I read this as, they buy for buy for 6 dollars a pound and sell for 5 dollars a pound and couldn't figure out how in the world they were going to make any money. LOL

That sounds like what happens at a guild quilt show. We have a "Members's table" it is a great place to get rid of your duplicate tools etc. and the fabric you once loved but now can't believe you purchased. We could use a shop like that in our area.

Great idea!!

Do they sell regular off the bolt fabric and new notions as well? or totally a 2nd hand sewing store?

Do they adopt stashes of magazines, patterns and books too?
