From Connecting Threads? How do they compare to Hoffman?

They are not Hoffman, but not bad. I was thinking of ordering some of the new colors, today.

I like them. I ordered the complete sampler to see all the colors. I have lots of Hoffman, Island, and Timeless Treasures batiks too. The differences between all of them aren't enough to bother me. I will order the CT batiks again.

i'm the odd one out.

i believe the difference to be dramatic, Connecting Threads is so thin i would only use it for backing on a wall hanging.

you can get Hoffman batiks at Thousands of Bolts for the same price as Connecting Threads.

I just looked today and they have some batiks on clearance right now - under $5.

Yes, I agree they are thiner. I had ordered the samples too. Some of the colors I liked and some not too good. I used them on a small wall hanging and they looked pretty.

Just curious, for you to say the CT batiks are so thin what are you comparing it to? I have the very expensive Hoffman batiks to compare side by side. I'll buy the Hoffman if I find it on a great sale, no other reason.
