Sounds like the perfect vacation! I did the same thing last year on our trip to PA. I sewed by the camp and the fellas went fishing. No cars, no people, just me my quilt and my thoughts, with a grand view of the clarion river as my wide screen tv. I so hope that you get to do it again soon. Cant wait to see your quilt.

Sounds like a slice of heaven to me!
We just spent the long weekend over the 4th at our sons. DH and DS made several trips to the different tool and home improvement stores and did some home improvement projects, and other than a trip to a LQS that is closing, I set up a sewing room in my sons office, hooked the computer up to netflics and sons tv and sewed to my hearts content!

So glad you and DH were able to get away, we all need to recharge our batteries once in a while.
