What a wonderful way to enjoy a vacation, doing what you love, where you love to be. If we are going for more than 2 days, I always take something to sew. It's fun! Like finding a new quilt shop.

Sounds like a perfect vacation. I've taken my quilting stuff and my husband took his guitar and music stuff. Had a great time.

If my DH would let me sew, I'd go camping with him too. Sounds like you had a lovely time. Lucky you!

I too have that pattern -- pinwheel like. I'm going to make two also; one for each of my moms sisters. Pinks and greens and the other Coblat blues and white.

Will be awaiting your photo.

I completely understand. When we go camping, I always take something to work on . . . I usually have something - applique (hand) frame, hand quilting a baby quilt on a lap quilting frame while sitting outside under the camper awning with my dog. Nothing better in the world. People stop by to ask about the quilting. It's a great way to meet people.

Of course we understand. I've read on here how some take hand crank machines when no electricity. LOL
