Go to Alicias Attic website and watch the video w/ Marci Baker explaining "Not Your Grandmothers Log Cabin" pattern. I think that's quite helpful. It makes me want to try this pattern and buy the book.

I just received my "Star Log Cabin Quilt" by Eleanor Burns in the mail today. After looking through it I am wondering how difficult the stars and lattice are to make. Anyone made this quilt? It really is pretty and I am hoping to make it for my son and his wife.
