It happens to all of us. Quite often when I can't find something I will make an effort to think about it before I fall asleep. For some reason I will remember where I put it in my dreams. Doesn't work all the time but a lot of the time it does. Good luck. BrendaK

Oh I am so glad you posted this thread! I have this happen to me occasionally. I know it is here and can't find it anywhere! I am very organized when it comes to my stash and patterns, but, like you said, gremlins do have thier way in my room sometimes. I agree tha once you start the project, it will show itself, laughing I am sure. Little monsters...

I was thinking that it was the next quilt I wanted to do.

Unfortunately, I think it might have been swept up and either put in the 'donate' bag or in the trash. I cannot fathom how i would ever put it in the trash... The donate bag I don't mind so much, because someone will get it and use it.

Of course, I'm hoping I'm wrong on trash or donate, that it's in a 'safe place'. Maybe when my kids are cleaning out the house after i've gone to my reward, they'll find it!

Yes, that's the one. So if the kit suddenly shows up on your doorstep, please send it home!

Use fabric in my stash instead of having fun buying new fabric? That's a new concept for me.

I've been working strictly from stash since 2001. It has made my work a lot more interesting because I never did have much yardage, so I have to be inventive

Go for it, you loved the fabric when you bought it, you'll love it in quilts.

Based on experience, the kit got tossed or put away with the holiday stuff.
