I do the same thing. I have more patterns than I will probably ever make and that doesn't count the hundreds on the computer or the new ones I now want. I was at a show last weekend and what did I come home with? You guessed it - more patterns. Everytime I see a pattern that intrigues me, I have to buy it. I know if I keep this up, I'll never get the chance to make them all.

I have just been through all my magazines and have removed all the patterns that I would like to make at some time. The magazines that I have left complete (because I did not find anything I would make) I have given to a charity so others can use them. I have then put them in large folders in plastic sleeves. I am up to 10 large folders. Boy am I going to have to live a l-o-n-g time.

    I don't consider pattern collecting a problem.

When I first got a computer I downloaded every quilt pattern I saw. Now I try to control my print finger. I still have way to many.

I have never bought a pattern. I get them online or from a magazine, punch the holes and put them in a notebook. Save money for more fabric. Edie
