Good advice...I'm 68 and can still lay the palms of my hands on the floor(not as long as a few years ago and feel it more now). Use it or lose it! I need to get away from the computer and get the coffee. Thanks for the pep talk.
I too, can lay the palms of my hands on the floor, but only when I am laying on the floor. hehe. I love everyone's enthusiasium.

Okay. Soon to be a 75 year old can still lay her palms flat on the floor. I swam 75 miles this year and take Pilates classes. I can also ride a recumbent bike for 5 miles easily. Do sometimes walk for 30 minutes before I swim. I intend to "use it" until I get hauled out feet first!! Cheers for the New Year!

I'm 66 but it is a real stretch to lay palms flat on the floor. lol However my great grandmother could when she was 90, so I guess there is still hope for me - do you think? You go girl!! Thanks for all the exercise tips Have you been watching Richard Simmons? lol

...And out into the snow with shovel in hand. That's right, bend from the knees. Pardon me but I am not all cheery this morning, have a miserable sinus headache and more snow on the ground. The big stuff is coming tonight. You guys stretch and bend while I shovel and bend and grumble.

Okay, to be honest, the northern states are gorgeous - you guys have trees - we have to grow our own in Texas! But if I lived where the snow is as deep as it is so far this winter, they'd have to put me on prozac!

You may be in hiding now, but some time or other you have lived in Texas or Oklahoma or some place like them because that is where we are always "fixin'" to do something. I love it.

Nope, never lived in either one of those places..Mainly have lived on the east coast in SC..Have lived in Florida, England, New York and Washington DC for awhile though :-D
