So many quilts - so little time.

If I have enough years left to make all the quilts I want it will truly be a miracle. Just when I think I can stop adding to the list, a new book comes out with inspiration for at least 10 more.

It was a huge mistake for me to read this post. Because reading it my list just became longer. Hopefully next on my list is a bargello. Not sure which kind yet in purples and teals. There is a Piecemakers quilt that has been on my list for quite a while. It has a tree for every month. I have learned all of the techniques I need to do it now except crazy quilting. There are 2 applique quilts I want to do. An abstract flamingo .................... etc. The list multiplies daily. Will never finish it. Plus every time I read the posts here it gets longer. Plus I am sure there will be a few baby quilts in there too.

It's not a failure, even if it does not turn out the way you think it should. Instead of failure, please label it a stepping stone. A failure is never trying.

Finally another person who does one project at a time. Right now I am trying to make a few things out of my scraps. I have so many pretty fabrics in small piecies that I need to find enough ideas to make. I like to make easy scrap quilts to pass time and to give away . Mostly to keep me busy
I to am thinking of OBW

My quilting To-Do list has less to do with sewing and more to do with the business. I need to:

1) Write up patterns for all of my designs
2) Test the patterns
3) Write a pattern book
4) Write a business plan
5) Design a fantabulous web site
6) Become a famous quilter

My to do list is so long I'd be here all night. I want to make almost every quilt, wall hanging, table runner and placemats I see. Then I want to teach every thing I learn to my students.

Great Aunt Jacqui... don't be afraid!! I'm definitely a newbie and I found a template for curves called Crazy Curves by Elisa's Backporch... (hope I've not broken any rules here??) I made a huge quilt for my DD out of batiks with this template using her instructions. I made so many blocks the quilt just grew and grew... it ended up being a large queen size!
If I can do it, you can too!! Happy quilting!!!
