Old Brother sewing machine is it worth it?

Ahhhh the price range of $25 to $50 (for a Brother lover). And Billy wants it if you don't. And it's PINK! and it looks almost brand new - no rust - no dirt - no scratches.
Do you need another machine? Or a portable one (if you can carry this one)?
I SAY GET IT!!!(especially if there's no shipping involved) You can always sell it to someone else.

I would get it in a heart beat! I love the unusual colored ones, even if they don't work, it usually doesn't take much to get the old ones going. They don't have expensive computer parts or anything.
I LOVE this one!

***Update*** So my mom offered the owner $35 for the machine and it is going to come and live with me!! Thank you all for your advice. I have never purchased an older machine but after starting this group I have had a really strong need to own a vintage machine!!!!! (kinda like when your friend gets something new you need to get it too!) Thank you so much for your advice and I cannot wait to get it home tomorrow!!!!

I have tried to find some info on it (I realize without model number it is a long shot) I was wondering if anyone might have seen this machine and would know what a good price to offer for it would be. Thank you so much!
