I have 3 rotating mats and the Olfa is my least favorite. It does not rotate smoothly.
Mathilda and Martelli mats are so much better.

I do not have any "official" rotating mats.
I haven't been convinced that the costs are worth the benefits.

Instead, if I am wanting the rotating feature, I use a smaller mat, that is easy enough to turn,
after I have done the cutting I want, in the first position.

It Works!

I have the 12 x 12 Olfa and love it. Got it at Joanns years ago with a 50 off coupon. It spins fine for me.

I have both the large and small Olfa rotating mats and love using them. I've never had an issue with them not rotating properly.

I have used all the rotating mats, Fiksars, Olfa, Matilda, and Martelli. Martelli Roundabout beats them all. It is big and rotates like a dream. Wait until you see a 50% off sale. They do happen. I bought two the last 60% off sale. Like buy one get one free. LOL I gave my 'free' one to the guild for our auction fund raiser and put one next to my machine. I have one on my cutting table too.

I have several and yet do what several have already reported - put my 12x18 mat on top of the 36x60 mat and just turn it as needed. Never had any problem.
