I've had mine for a year. I use it a lot, hubby even irons his clothes with it. Works great! BUT I do buy spring water at the store just for my iron. Our water is terrible in the country.

I have used them in classes and did not like it at all. I have tendencies to take my hand off the handle of the iron to smooth fabric, finger press a seam, check something, etc. When it popped up, it irritated me to no end. I now take my Rowenta everywhere I go!

Okay, I've heard a lot about the Rowenta. Could someone tell me more?

I have had mine for 6 months and I love it. YOu do not have to keep standing it up when you are done.

I've used a Rowenta for years and have had no problems. However, I don't use steam for pressing my seams or a piece of fabric before doing any cutting. That seems to be the biggest complaint from people. It drips a lot when steaming.

The pop up feature is a cute gimmick (and I love a cute gimmick) but I really love the 30 minute shut off. Only the yellow one has the 30 minute shut off.

I also had one and loved it but it stopped working after a short time so I will not spend that money again.

I picked one up, literally, at a shop and found it to be really heavy. Not for me.
