Absolutely! That's why they went on my Christmas list. DH was complaining that he couldn't wrap them, but I said I didn't care. I've had my eye on them for a long time and now ... they're MINE!

Hi Krystyna, hope you have a great holiday with the family.

Difinitely plan to finish WIP, and purchased kits. And try to use up some stash making pretties to share. And just in general try to accomplish a little more this year.

Happy Holidays All. Have a great and safe New Year.

I want to finish up a couple of UFOs, the first being 'Spangled Cabins'. Most of the blocks are pieced, just have to get them together. After the UFOs are completed, I have a couple of kits for lap quilts. No fabric buying for me until these are ALL done. I'm pretty sure I have all the fabric I need, including backings & batting.

Ask me about this next year at this time.

My sewing room should be condemned. Cleaning and organization is #1 on my list before I start anything new. I have a flannel baby quilt kit from Connecting Threads to start. Family friend's first baby, a little girl, is due in March. I have a snowman UFO to finish hand quilting and started knitting a pair of socks the other night. First things first though, enjoying Christmas and relaxing. There's fresh cookies to nibble and a glass of wine to savor. Happy holidays all.

Once the holidays are over, I will be going to my pile of UFO's and starting to work that pile down...I would like to finish AT LEAST one a month and if possible 2 a month. Then I won't feel so guilty starting new projects!

I have been collecting fabric to make myself a bargello quilt; want to start that. I also neglected my "Quilts for Kids" sewing, so I want to make several to send out to them. And I have been "collecting" jelly rolls and charm squares, so I want to play around with some new ideas to use them....and.....and.....and.....

Back to my bright solids French Braid that was tabled for the holidays. Can't wait to get it finished. I think this one will stay with me.

Catch my breathe. I wish.
After shopping and finishing my Christmas wall hanging, I got a commision from my BIL to make two 40 x 48 landscapes from photos he provided, to act as privacy screens in front of a 2 way gas fireplace. I'm almost finished the second raw panel. They are yet to be quilted and embellished. You can see them at my site under Beautiful BC, and Lower Runs at Kicking Horse. I'll post them here when finished.

First get my sewing area cleaned up. Next go shopping with youngest granddaughter so we can pick out the fabric for her quilt, and make that for her. Then I have so many projects, I am not sure where I will start to be perfectly honest.
