I didn't read every reply, so I apologize if I am asking something that you answered......what kind of appliques are putting on? Will they be able to stand up to the strong colors on the first quilt top - or would they be lost in all of those bright colors? Will the appliques be the "star" of the show more on the second top with the softer colors?
