I love mine also, it does not slip. The owner of my LQS uses them and started me on them too

Quilt stores cut so much fabric, glad to hear what your LQS uses.

They are my favorite rulers as well. I started with Omnigrip but found it difficult to see the lines. I'm gradually replacing all of mine with Creative Grids. I also have tried some of their specialty rulers and like them too.

I love the "turn it upside down for half inch measurement" feature that they have. The first ruler I bought was an Omnigrid and the second was a Creative Grid. For me, a total beginner, Creative Grid wins hands down! It grips the fabric and I find it much easier to line up the edges of the fabric for cutting - more clear space on the measurement lines to see if the edge of the fabric is running exactly on the line.
