Opinion on Warm and Natural

have recently discovered wool batting and i LOVE it! it's more care as it has to be cold washed and laid flat to dry. but it is a dream to quilt with and makes a wonderfully warm quilt. i bought 4 yards when it was on sale at joann's so i don't know the brand. it was $7.50 a yard on sale. so 14.99 normally. wish i'd bought all they had! other than that, i have used wn successfully and have no complaints! does feel thin compared to the wool.

I was soooo excited when I saw your post for the warm & natural batting. And then I found my JoAnn's flyer for this sale, and I didn't see anywhere that is listed this batting on sale
This is the flyer that comes in the mail too. I am in Michigan, and wonder if different states might have different items on sale!!!

Well at least I am not alone. I like the 80/20 although I do use the Fairfield since that is easy for me to get inexpensively. I bought Warm and Natural twice. Once when I was doing a demo at a farmers market fair. It was damp in the morning when I set up and the batting stayed damp all day it was a bear trying to quilt the quilt. The second time I bought a package that was on sale and decided to use it to replace my cover on my big board. It smelled horrible when it got wet from spray startch or water and there were big brown stains transfered to my cover and some white I was ironing. I replaced that with 80/20 and haven't had a problem. I am not buying it a 3rd time for sure.

I have used several different types but W&N is my favorite. I love the density of it. I order king size from JoAnns on line and use a coupon for the best price. Look for the free shipping days.

Joann's also has a 60% off one fabric cut coupon in their flyer!. I plan on getting a bolt (again). I also live far from a Joann's and do not like to w/o my w/n.
