    I really like #2. If it's its red and white it needs more red than white. The first one, though red and white, lacks a positive statement.

    I like no. 1 but then I am thinking of doing it as a scrappy.

    If I were doing just 2 colors, I would do no. 2.

    I love the idea of using 2" squares also!!

    #1 is sort of confusing, your eyes searching for a pattern in it.... The second option works much better, IMO. Very pretty!
