I have them well trained in my house...and my husband bought me my Ginghers and he knows how much I value them. I also probably have about a dozen pairs of scissors so he would have to go past a lot of other scissors to get to the good ones. Even my son knows better.

Well, at least he knows where to start looking for replacements. Wouldn't want to be in his shoes now.

My husband (now ex) used my best shears to cut insulation when we were remodeling. He was shocked to find out how much a new pair cost.

What a hoot! My kids and spouse know not to use my good scissors. Plus, they would never know where to look as I keep them hidden away! Love the creative solutions to keeping scissors safe!

Here is how we all feel about our scissors:
a friend will calm you down when your husband has used your scissors.
A quilting friend will skip beside you with an Al-Kabong pan and sing: "Someone's gonna get it!"

I might go get my hubby's best jeans and cut the seat out right in front of him!
I'm not a mean quilter...I just believe in justice, LOL!

What your saying makes perfect sense,
but if he feels the same way, there are other scissors in life.

Great story - My DH bought me my last pair of beautiful scissors. He knows how much they were so I don't think he would dare use them!

I think I am going to attach a note to my scissors:
Go ahead! - reap the consequences...LOL!
    This has been too funny
