I think I'm going to do this one. I want to look through my stash and see what I have to work with. I haven't done any of her boms but I really like the look of last years, so it's definitely worth a shot. If anyone gets their blocks done please post the pics! I am finishing Bonnie Hunters mystery now so will not get to this one for a while.

Well, I was going to do Pat Sloans BOM but don't like the first block at all. The star doesn't stand out. Looks like a blob of red.

Well, I'm doing it but am delayed as waiting for fabric to arrive. I had to order from several different sites as well and waiting for over half of the fabrics. I couldn't find the cream color background with polka dots anywhere so bought a different fabric in the line. I hope it works. Looking forward to starting it

I have seen mystery quilts which are really nice looking, done through my LQS, don't remember which designer they went with. I think that BH quilt was the exception; certainly, the reveal was a shock to the system for quilters like me!

This one looks to have lots of bright fabrics too so watch out!

I am doing it and loved the first block. I am using stash and making it patriotic. when it is done I will donate to the Veterans Home here in Phoenix.

I believe I have finally picked out my fabrics. They are in order from left to right top to bottom. Hopefully I can get the picture to show right side up. It always seem to go sideways for some reason. Tell me what you guys think. Should I try to trade out any colors?

Why can I not get it to come in the right direction? OK left bottom is fabric 1. It goes up that row and then starts again at the bottom of the second row.
