if i pull this off, you guys will deserve a HUGE chunk of the credit. if not for ya'll, i'd have never thought i'd have a chance of taking the steps i hope to take before the year is out.

You gotta do what you gotta do. I can understand why you are hesitant on some things.
I just want to be "in" when the first one is actually published. I can get it, frame it...oh yea, you'd have to sign it....and I can display it next to all my other goodies I'll be having in my house. :) :)
And if you want a volunteer for your patterns...let me know! I'm here!!
Amma's pattern came out lovely and I think she should actually go and copywrite that. It's too pretty to just really give away! I was flattered she gave me the pattern.

Woo-eee, a soon-to-be-famous person in our midst. Actually, you're already famous around here.
Famous for your beautiful work.
Famous for your colour combinations.
Famous for your patterns.
Famous for your unique sense of humour.
Famous for the efficient way you keep us in line.
Ya, I'd say we all know you. Good luck becoming famouser.
As an avid patternoholic, it would be FUN to try out something that I knew where it came from. As a beginner, I'm pretty good at mis-reading unclear steps so I can go back and do them again! What's your timeline? Most of my quilting takes place on holidays and weekends.

WOW!!! I am BLOWN AWAY by the fact that this topic has been reactivated after two years. i couldn't believe my eyese when i saw this ... and all the wonderful pms in my box this morning.
I can't even begin to say how good that makes me feel. seriously ... i'm all misty. :P
this whole idea got sidelined waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when things at work started changing so radically for me. i had just about given up any hope of being able to work on my design dream until i finally retire. this must be a sign that i shouldn't wait that long.
i'm going to get off my butt, dust off those designs and - thanks to all of you - start again to work toward this dream.
thank you x 10,000,000,000,000,000 :-)
