Default pattern ideas

Have been collecting 1 yard of various grays/creams and blacks and now have 11 various pieces. Just liked them and am ready to get started with a new creation. Need suggestions for a pattern. They are all prints/dots/no solids. My abilities are average and the quilt size doesn't matter. What pattern might be suggested?

I did 2 disappearing 9 patch quilts in black/white/gray and added a touch of turquoise to one and purple to the other. I used purple or teal in the center squares of the 9 patches (and cornerstones for sashing), darker squares for the outer corners, lighter squares for the rest of the 9 patches.

I agree, LOVE the D9P with all the variety you can make with the setting of the blocks. There is also a free pattern from Michael Miller:

What a pretty quilt that disappearing 9 patch makes. I especially love the 2nd quilt with the Purple. I love Purple. Thanks for sharing.

I came across this HST quilt in neutral colours a little while ago, and really liked it, simple, stylish, and really beautiful: http://www.diaryofaquilter.com/2015/...als-quilt.html

Would like to know the pattern also. My Disappearing 9 patch didn't look like that - I don't think.
