Default Peacock panel quilt

These aren't turned correctly, but I'm having a terrible time getting them into jpg. This is what I want to make, a peacock quilt to match my switch plate.

My problem is that I don't know what to frame the panel with. I have an entire category on Pinterest of ideas, but I'd like to hear what the board thinks. The panel is busy enough as it is, so just some borders??

This was a surprise topic tonight as I worked on a peacock panel quilt while at retreat this weekend...and I wondered if maybe you had been there...but no.... it was here in BC. My panel was by Timeless Treasures... did you already check on their site to see the free pattern ideas they had?

wow, great job so far. the switchplate has a thin beige border, i'd go with that and then maybe a white border so it doesn't distract from the beautiful center

Pretty panel! I might see how a French Braid border done in the same jewel tones would look.
