It is a beautiful quilt. I think you are being much too hard on yourself.

How/why did you have to use the grid paper? And I agree, the top is gorgeous.

My only experience with the pellon fusible grid is the piece the quilt store sold me had lines that were too light to see. Turned out to be a flaw and they did replace it. Not sure how they didn't notice it when they made up the kits they sold when they "introduced" this product but by the time I got frustrated and called the shop I was out of the mood to try it so the new pellon grid is sitting in box with the fabric to make it and I haven't looked at it since. Come to think of it that was a few years ago, perhaps it's time to drag out the box and take a fresh look.

Sorry, forgot to say ... I think your quilt is beautiful! Great choice of fabrics and I didn't see any flaws at all!

Wow it is beautiful. Love your colors. What mistakes?

I've heard others at my guild with show and tell say that while they like their quilt, using the pelon grid was a "never again" experience.
