There was a tutorial on this site (Missouri Quilt Co) that used two 10" squares. You just sew around all four sides with 1/4" seam. Cut X and you end up with 4 approximately 7" half square triangles. Simply arrange into the pinwheel. Approximately 13" block

I'm in, I'm going to start this weekend so that I can get a head start, I'm already planning to fall behind! Will we post photos as we go along, or wait until the finale? I'm guessing we can make them any size we choose since they'll be for our own use?

I'll try to do this one... just love to make pinwheels. I had a bunch of Halloween charm packs I did that with, and it was a lot of fun. I still haven't put them together into blocks, or even decided quite what I want to do with them, but - hey! - some super idea will strike me soon, I'm sure. <G>
