I like #1 too. I am actually starting another one using layer cakes. Am making a charity quilt and thought this would be a fun and fast way to do it. It will give me a chance to practice with my new long arm.

I kind of like #1 also.
It's going to be great no matter which layout you use.

Good idea Grann of 6. The pinwheels will make a great charity quilt and the more you use your long arm the better your quilts will be.

I'm not using sashing between my blocks but I am using a blank square between them just cause I like it!

Today is day 67! I sent the company off on a long bike ride then to Bathtub reef for most of the day so I have one row of pinwheels sewn together! I'll keep at it until they come back.
I'll get there.

Here is the last of my pinwheels - quilted (not impressively) and ready for the children at Shriner's. Dh is bringing them for donation tonight !

Nice looking quilt, the black and white border gives it a more contemporary look, using half blocks in the border is a great idea.

Here is the fabric I going to use for my pinwheel project. Do think using only one color with the striped for the entire quilt or does several difference colors?
