I've got about 27 done - and about 60 more cut and ready to go. I took this opportunity to organize all my small pieces into small bins by dominant color and folded up the remainders into these tubs as I went along. Totally cleansing ! Talk about a scrappy I not used any fabric twice - Oraganizing this into a quilt is another project all by itself !

I'd like to join. I am a little behind but will catch up by the weekend. Mine will be scrappy. On a different message board I found a challenge where you make a project using a different color each month to help you use up some of your stash and to get you using colors that you may not use often. February is violet so I will try to violet. January was yellow, so I'll make some yellow's as well. Thanks for posting this!

Well, I really am working on this project, really I am! I need something to keep my mind busier while I'm sewing! I keep revising what I want to do instead of just doing it! I'm making a baby quilt (cheat, cheat, cheat!) and only really need a few blocks - about 9 or 12 or 16 - depending on size of borders, blocks are 9-1/2" square. I don't always sleep well and find myself up at 2 a.m. working on these d**m pinwheels! I was going to post a picture but the camera is under the heaps of fabric somewhere. Love the pictures posted so far!

I found an old pattern from a magazine. It used pinwheels with 16 patch. One row was a pinwheel going one direction and then a 16 patch alternating.
The next row was a same but with pinwheel reversed direction. So if you made the pinwheels reversed you could use this idea instead of ripping out.

All fixed!

We really have a great group of pinwheels here. Lovely pictures everyone Keep up the good work.

Quilter53...by chance, what is the name of that pattern that you found? Sounds interesting.
