Thank you all for your suggestions. I love this community! I agree that nine patch cornerstones would be lovely and I've done that in the past when I've had a triple sashing. This is a charity quilt and I don't want to spend that much time on it. So... the follow pic has red, green, and blue cornerstones. Any and all comments are welcome.

I vote either black or rust for cornerstones.

i would like to see rust as cornerstones. but if you want to use one of the three in the last pic, i choose the red.

The rust would look the best in MHO. Great quilt.

Another vote for either the rust or the black. Those two colors will continue the lines of the sashing and look intentional.

The other colors seem to bring in an element that doesn't relate to the sashing strips.

Just an opinion. I do love the rest of your quilt direction that you have already done. Good luck!

I would also go with rust or black.

I like either the top or middle blocks. Not crazy about the blue for this.

The blue is too bright and the green introduces a new color. I'd go with black or rust.

Have you tried no cornerstones at all? I think these choices are detracting from the focal prints. I would try no stones, or black, or the same rust in the strip. I think the color needs to recede.
