    If you are sewing point to point put a pin through the points. Take another pin and pin the pieces together. If you use your original pin your fabrics shift just a little.

    Read your note about starching. After I spray it, do I just walk away until it is dry to touch before i press, or does the iron dry it? Next time i buy some i will buy a different brand, the can I have comes out too heavy. I am in the process of putting blocks together for a Hunter star. I am a sewer not a "quilter" yet. I did starch the fabric before I rotary cut the pieces and also I decided to do paper pieicing to try something different. Linda
