If you really want to tack them down, just fold back and catch the underside to the background, no need to go all through to the backing. And hey, as long as it looks pretty when you give it, that is what counts. No new mother would think about ironing them down.LOL

well you could iron them nicely and then tack down the Point.

I made this one too for my grandson born in Aug. 2010! It's been washed and washed and the points don't stay down, but it's OK. He wakes up in morning and we know he's been chewing on the quilt. That's OK too. I machine pieced the top (first time for triangles) and hand quilted the pinwheels. My husband designed the center. Not my first, but it was one of the hardest. The idea was from the Moda Bakeshop.

I just leave it. I made two baby quilts with prairy points along the outside. I realy like your baby quilt and how you put the prairy points on the inner border. Very pretty!
