Epsons are amazing printers. They use pigment ink. Only downside is the heads clog up more easily. I went through one a year for 2 yrs before I gave up and switched to Canon but the print quality was definitely fantastic. I would try to print at least every couple of weeks to keep the heads clear.

I've owned several Epson printers over the decades, and they all worked fine indeed.
Right now I'm on an Epson Stylus CX8400 and quite happy with it.
