Me too. And it is also great for holding the backing taut when sandwiching quilts and taping down a pantograph if you don't have the panto clear cover.

I have two sizes in the top drawer of my machine cabinet and use them all the time. I purchased a 24" square of clear acrylic for oversized blocks and mark the sizes with the tape. A small square with an "X" marks the center.

Blue painter's tape is the only tape I use in my sewing room. If you leave blue painter's tape on rulers for weeks at a time you still won't have to worry about it leaving any residue. Not true with other tapes.

I use post-it notes to mark the size I am to measure/cut. I can even put messages to myself on them.

I use blue(or anycolor) painters tape for a lot of things. I use it with my longarm even to mark pantos, etc.

Believe me it works a lot better than a black pen!!!!!--J

I have used it when cutting all the pieces for a large project

I use the purple painter's tape.
