I have some skinny florescent tapes I got once, & use them. I hadn't been taping rulers lately, but right now, am cutting 2in strips, in two lengths, & kept cutting some the wrong length, so I decided to find the tape! LOL, sure glad I did, it really speeds things up & no more wrong lengths, yeah!

Sounds great to me. I'd never thought about using it because I thought there would be a residue left that I'd have to deal with. I think my husband has some in the garage and I'm sure he won't miss it. Thanks!

Use it all the time. I use a couple of layers so it buts up to the edge of the fabric. I love it.

I use painter's tape a lot. It helps the ruler from sliding. Couldn't live without it. I tried the Invisi-Grip and it did not help so I went back to the painters tape.

what a great idea!

I use that or post it notes. They stay stuck enough for me to finish a project.

You were!

I wrap several layers of blue painters tape around my long rulers when I am cutting strips. This acts as a "lip" when moving the ruler and I don't have to pay much attention to where I am placing the ruler on the fabric.
