Just an FYI, there are some nasty chemicals in those, and they might not react well with the fabrics once it is washed.

there are no harmful chemicals in the erasers..

but i would be curious to see what happens to the fabric after it is washed..

i use it dry....

i will also admit that the quilt top i'm working on now probably won't be washed....it'll lay on a bed and be treasured by by aunt and her kids as it gets passed down thru the generations.

Thanks for the tip. I will try it and see how it works for me.

Thanks, I would not have thought to use the Magic Eraser.

Wow, another use for them. They are the greatest.

That's great. I'll have to remember that one. I always use magic erasers to clean my walls(i have an artistic 3 yr old), scrub the floors, and anything else I can use it for.

Me too -- and often had to give up getting those tacky pencil marks out

Does anyone know if the magic erasers will work on other types of pencils as well??
