I have both the 6" and 12" add a 1/4". I use mostly the 6" one as it is easier to handle. I use mine for paper piecing. Works great.

It would be more manageable at only 6 I'm he's in length. Hey ladies anyone know how cut an acrylic ruler in half?

I have a quarter rule, but have only used it once - to measure my quarter inch foot was sewing correctly! bit of a waste of space really - I prefer to use the quarter inch marks on my normal quilting ruler.
