Im off to the doller store! I'm tired of chasing thread snips all over the place, I bet it would work good on Otis too! LOL I have a screen in my sink drain to catch things that I don.t want to go down the drain ,we are on out own septic system, when it gets full just dump into the trash no harder that taking out the sink stoper!

Super idea! I hope that I can find one.

I never thought of those. My best friend usually clips threads for me, maybe his next job will be the roller thing.

I use the Pantiliners I wrap it around my hand and just use the sticky part to pick up all threads. Works great for me

That is a really smart idea. There is just nothing like having to get all those threads off the brushes of a vacuum that are all tightly wound around. I have an upright vacuum and so have to get the stuff up with my magic toilet brush (see my post above) before I can vacuum the room.

I use masking tape rolled around my hand.

I went nuts trying to find something to pick up threads on this velcro carpet. I tried vacuum, broom, rake, another vacuum, and finally got a big sticky roller, its takes about 5 strips to do my floor but it is now mostly thread free. And I am happy. I had one of those blue wash off ones a few years back for pet hair. Didn't work all that well for me either.

Ohhh...great idea. I will have to try it.

Harbor Freight is one of my favorite stores. I bought a long handle Magnet that is great for picking up needles and pins that have hidden themselves in the carpet. Try it. It would work on all kinds of floors. Usually cost around 9.00
