Sorry to say but I don't think it works. The style of the fabric is to different from the rest of the pretty quilt. It just looks mis matched. Audition the dark brown for your border. I think it will have a richer look and really go from "make do" to "WOW".
The quilt is very pretty. Keep the finish simple and the quilt will sing. peace After seeing a few of your choices, I like the addition of the solid pink or blue with the solid border. I would piece the (pink or blue) inner border to add a dark brown piece so the DR BR sashing ends at the DR BR border. It should continue through the (pink/ blue) border and connect with the outer border. Again, I like the quilt very much. peace |
The print is great... it ties everything together and is interesting.

I really like the addition of the dark strip around the border. It gives the lines running to the edge a place to "land." I also think the print is good. I matches well with the quilt.

I like the way you have it in the first picture with your thread.

I think this is going to be the one but i did order a better matching blue. I might do the blue in a flange style.

I'd go with the little pink border, followed by the dark brown. Very nice!

Definitely like the print better! It highlights the movement in the rest of the design. Gorgeous quilt!

I think put a dark brown strip first, to frame it, then the border. it is a beautiful quilt...
