There is an online button shop, wish I still had the link or could remember the name, but they had really good prices on very cute buttons. I guess a web search would find it for you.

You might look at garage and yardsales. I used to find that buying old clothes meant great recycled buttons (often the buttons were worth more than the rest of it). I can buy an old stained button-down shirt, cut off the buttons (which are like new) and reuse them. Best of all, you usually get the correct number you need to make a shirt. None of the 2 or 3 buttons to a card thing.

Our Wal-Mart has quite a few buttons. I put a $1.49 packet of daisy ones in my cart but they apparently dropped out before I got to the checkstand. Didn't want to trudge to back of store so stopped at Hancock Fabrics where the same buttons, same brand were something like $2.87.

I love some of the really cute buttons out there. I finally decided that they could be crocheted into real cute bracelets. Maybe a few for Xmas.
