At 60% I wouldn't pass it up, but with today's money, I would be looking for something that would compliment my stash. Ok now , $40.00 is my limit and I am carrying $40.00 cash only.

I did forget about backings - I would go in looking for some good basic backing fabric. I never have enough for backing on hand, and always try to get backing fabrics on clearance.

I would have to at least look. I am using my stash. It's almost out of control.

Absolutely!!! I don't think I could pass up a 60% off sale.

I 'm a planner -while browsing I spot what I want to get and wait for next weeks coupon.I shop a lot at Hancocks on the 1st and 3rd weds. They give a 15%off entire purchase to Sr citizens I stretch my fabric budget til it screeches.

It depends on the fabric. Do I have fabric in the stash to go with it. Do I have a pattern begging to use it. Does it cause my to create a pattern just for that fabric!
|
I'm trying to use stash and buy only what I need to complete projects. That said-60% off would cause me to see what I did need for borders, backings, etc.

I'm a mixed bag - we are tightening our belts, but I have a bit of fabric money to spend. At 60% off it is just too good to miss. I look for backings, I look for blenders. I also love batiks so I'd poke through them too. Occasionally I find a fabric that speaks to me and I get that.
I wonder though - of amounts. I try to buy 1 yard each of blenders and batiks (if I'm not doing something specific) and I buy 3 yards of a focus fabric. Anyone else have ideas for amounts? |
