I always look at the sales fabric. Sometimes I find some that goes with other fabric I have and even if I haven't decided yet on what to do with it, I will buy some. I also look for fabric on sale that I can practice my long arm quilting on or for backing.
if I liked it and it was 60% off, I would buy it even if I didn't have a purpose in mind. I am and addict.
60% off for 100% cotton first quality fabric???? My God, I would buy it all!
I have all the stash I can find places for. So I would try to use some of what I have.
Oh yes, I'd look and if the fabric appealed to me, probably buy. That is the nature of a stash - self perpetuation.
I am a sucker for fabric on sale! While I am trying to use my stash, I would have to at least look at the fabric--and buy some, I am sure. In fact. one of our LQS is having a 30 percent off everything sale between Christmas and New Years--and I'll certainly be there for the sale!
I would buy enough for backs and borders because of the rising cost of fabrics. This way you can use your stash at home. It has been working for me.
I would only buy if I truly loved it - or it was the "one" fabric that would blend with my stash for that perfect quilt!
I buy very little fabrics but when I see something I want...I get it.
I would buy the sale! Just me, don't like to pass a good bargain.
