I believe this is the video by Patsy Thompson that TootieAnn was talking about. If you haven't watched it you might like to see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UoUzK19Vww

I have a basting gun - HATE IT!! A few pins & spray basting for me.

I have heard that the tagger gun does not hold the layers together as well as spray basting or pinning. I choose to pin and remove the pins in the area I am working on.

My husband bought a strip of carpet tacking board & put at the top of the wall in the hallway. I machine baste a hanging strip to the top of my quilt & it is so quick to just hang & tape the back, batting & then the top & he even bastes it for me. Gotta love that man.

I tried the tagger gun and found that it didn't hold tight enough. but I use it to hook my quilt layers to my quilt frame.
I saw those pinmore things and thought they would be neat?
I well have to give them a try. up until now I used safty pins but it can be a royal pain to say the least. I would tape layers to the floor and pin. The only problem is that I would get so stiff and sore I couldn't hardly get off the floor. Now with a sore knee I well have to go to plan B.

I have found glue basting is the best for me - spray it on and it stays.
