I would quilt 30 hours a day and 9 days a week if we had them , love quilting on a Sunday I listen to the BBC radio and catch up on what is happening in the world. Cathy

Yes, i sew and quilt every chance I get!

Everyday for me..........if I don't, my DH had better take that as a definite clue that I'm NOT FEELING GOOD! Which is really a rarety. As all mothers can relate, we don't have time to get sick! (And even when green with whatever, the mind somehow insists on feeling guilty!)

I quilt when ever I can. As others have said, for me is is my time to relax. Some times the only 'escape' I can get.. Oh, and reading the QB.. lol

Yes I sew on Sunday!!

After church and Sunday dinner, I retire to my studio downstairs and spend the afternoon quilting. Sometimes I put a movie on and really enjoy the day. Like others on here, I don't consider quilting work ... it is pure pleasure for me.

Never did pay no never mind to such things. I do as I please. Its of no consequence. reckon?
Yep thats how we talked till we moved to the city! Its a day of rest, hear ya. but one must mind sloth. Idle hands and all. I quilt, I build, I clean house. but I will NOT do business on Sunday. That can wait till Monday. Puppy buyers, customers, all will wait till Monday. |
I would quilt,- its pleasure, not work.My Great Uncle Willie always said no horse trading, card playing or business on Sundays--so they played dominoes (cards were ROOK)"CHORES" were still done.
