I live in an ecclectic environment so really, anything goes. Between the cobwebs, the dog hair, and the unfinished sheet rock, scrappy quilts fit in quite nicely. lol

Quilts are beautiful if they "match" or not. I usually try to do a person's favorite color for their quilts and since it is their favorite color, it usually matched the room just fine.

NO, I make what I like, if I had to consider matching of quilts to rooms I would have problems, does it really matter? my quilts are comforters not a designer accessory.

In my house anything goes. I think it depends on who I'm giving it to, if it's for a child, any color is fine. Lap quilts for adults, I try to go with their style and favorite colors.

My quilts are throws for a sofa.

My quilts never match! I have dark wood paneling in most of the
rooms, so a bright quilt really helps to liven it up. My house is furnished in "Early Goodwill/thrift store"
