I haver used muslin on a couple quilts and like it very well. Nice to get it large enough so there are no seams. I will be using it more often since prices of fabrics are going up. I used to use a lot of the Kona solids until the prices went so high.

Yes, all the time. I like the way it feels...nice and soft!

I use it frequently, although I do use the quilters muslim, the wide kind. It costs as much sometimes as fabric on sale but I like the way it looks. By buying the wide kind, it doesn't take as much yardage.

I have used Marshalls many times. Prices and quality are very good. Shipping is timely and not over-priced. The only drawback sometimes is they don't always have as much as I need. They may only have one or three yds of something left and I may need five or seven for backing. But, it's a good place to shop.

I have just be sure to wash it first, then iron it again. It really can shrink

I have used muslin, printed cotton, flannel and fleece. I choose according to what the recipient may like, what type of quilting I am doing, etc... the sky is the limit when choosing backings :D:D:D
